First Aid Training, Lancashire, UK

First Aid Training

First Aid saves lives! This is usually good enough reason for organisations to ensure that they have adequate first aid provision in the workplace. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 also requires employers to provide appropriate first aid cover for their employees. Specialist has long experience of providing first aid training for industry and offers a full programme of courses to meet your needs.

First Aid at Work Course – HSE Approved

This course is designed to provide trainees with a basic level of first aid knowledge such that they would be sufficiently competent to deal with general work related accidents and injuries.

First Aid at Work Requalification Course – HSE Approved

This course is aimed at those employees who already hold a full First Aid at Work certificate and who are coming up to their three year requalification time limit. Any first aiders who have the “in date” approved certificate from any first aid training organisation can attend the course.

Emergency First Aid

The 1981 Regulations require a person to be appointed to provide emergency cover in the absence of First Aiders, but only where the absence is due to exceptional unforeseen or temporary circumstances (so annual leave does not count). Appointed Persons are a useful addition to the provision of First Aiders above and beyond normal provision although they should not be seen as replacements for fully trained first aiders.

Occupational Health

Specialist has access to a number of qualified occupational health nurses who cover a variety of work related health needs.
