All organisations have a requirement to provide adequate first aid provision for their employees. To help employers determine the number and type of first-aid personnel needed in their workplace, the HSE has developed the First Aid at Work Assessment tool which can be accessed via the following link www.hse.gov.uk/firstaid/assessmenttool.htm. It is a tool well worth using. After using the tool, or if first aid requirements are already known, appropriate training courses can be selected from the lists below.
