Having an internal company based resource saves money on training costs and brings much greater operational flexibility. You should speak to the training team to discuss which option would suit your particular circumstances.
Organisations need to regularly assess the standards of their drivers. This may be by means of an annual or six monthly assessment. The Standard Assessor course is designed to enable this task to be performed by an existing company employee. Entrants to the course should themselves be able to demonstrate a high driving standard and should be of a temperament suitable for assessment duties. This two day course will train them to carry out basic vehicle driving assessments and to identify driving deficiencies that may need further training.
The ASET Defensive Driving Assessor Course is designed for those existing assessors or instructors who are to deliver the ASET Certificate in Defensive Driving. Potential assessors must possess a recognised driving instructional or assessment qualification or have attended and passed the Standard Assessor course. The course is five days long and will cover all theoretical and practical aspects of delivery of the Certificate level course. Upon successful completion of the training, the individual will be able to deliver the Certificate course within their own organisation. They may be subject to ASET auditing and moderation of the training.
